Japanese Festival held at University of Northern Colorado (October 23, 2016)

On Sunday, October 23rd, Consul-General Ito attended a Japanese Festival held at the University of Northern Colorado. It is the first time such an event was held in Greeley, and was meant to widely introduce Japanese culture and planned by the Colorado Japanese Language Education Association (CJLEA). At the festival there was a cosplay contest, Denver Taiko performance, and Karate demonstration. The venue was very lively with many people attending including university students, Greeley residents, and out-of-state visitors from Wyoming.
