2015 Salt Lake Nihon Matsuri Festival (April 25, 2015)

Nihon Matsuri is a one day street festival which celebrates the arts, music, crafts and food of the Utah Japanese American community. The festival is free to the public and offers 2 stages of continuous entertainment including Taiko drummers, traditional Koto, Japanese dancing, tea ceremony and martial arts demonstrations. Over 20 vendors have booths that sell Japanese foods, clothing, crafts and souvenirs. The festival is held on 100 South which is the location of the original Salt Lake Japantown prior to the construction of the Salt Lake Convention Center.
