Japanese Firms Association of Colorado celebrates its 30th anniversary (1/14/2012)

 

JFA Chairman Kazuyoshi Ishikawa started with opening remarks. Mr. Isao Kamitani, founder and advisor of the JFA, followed with his talk, looking back 30 years of history since its foundation. Consul General Ono, offering his congratulations, called upon JFA members to work with all Japan related communities to present “Revitalized Japan” from here, Denver.

 

Many guests joined in the 30th anniversary celebration with congratulatory addresses, including representatives from the Japanese Association of Colorado and the Japanese-American Citizen's League. Messages from Governor Hickenlooper and Mayor Hancock were also read at the gathering.

 

Since its establishment in 1981, the Japanese Firms Association of Colorado has established and supported Japanese companies which have expanded to business in Colorado, established and operated the Denver Japanese School and contributing greatly to strengthening relations between Japan and Colorado through various exchanges with local communities.
