Eighth Annual Nihon Matsuri in Salt lake City, Utah (April 27, 2013)
Consul-General Ono and Mrs. Ono attended the Eighth Annual Nihon Matsuri in Salt Lake City on April 27th, organized by Japanese American community in Utah. According to the organizer of the event, around 7,000 people attended this year’s festival, which featured Japanese traditional culture such as martial arts, drums and modern pop culture like anime, along with exhibition related to the history of Japanese American in Utah. Those who came to the event were able to enjoy various aspects of Japanese culture throughout the day.
