Visit by a company delegation from Yamagata Prefecture (May 24, 2013)
A company delegation from Yamagata Prefecture, sister state of Colorado, visited Consulate office on May 24th. The delegation of 13 business people had a busy and fruitful schedule here including a seminar on environmental business activity in Colorado and a visit to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Consul General Ono expressed his elevated expectations on the potential expansion of business relations between Yamagata and Colorado, with the advantage of existing connections from the sister state relationship combined with the beginning of non-stop flight service between Tokyo and Denver starting on 10th June.
