2013 JET Departure Reception (July 26, 2013)
The 27th JET Orientation and Departure Reception for the group of 34 Rocky Mountain JETs departing via Denver was held on 26th July, 2013. The Consulate delivered a message highlighting the importance of the JET Program in regards to US-Japan relations and expressed our hopes and expectations for the participants to be bridges between our two countries. In addition, Mr. John McMillan, President of the Rocky Mountain JET Alumni Association, shared encouraging words to the participants and 2013 Rocky Mountain JET, Mr. Paul Kisling, expressed his determination and desire to succeed on behalf of the participants. The 2013 Rocky Mountain JETs departed Denver the next day and we truly wish them the best in Japan.
