Japanese Ballet Dancer Morihiro Iwata Visits Denver (July 26 - 28, 2013)

Mr. Morihiro Iwata, a world-class Japanese ballet dancer and former soloist with the Russian National Theater's Bolshoi Ballet, visited Denver July 26-28, 2013. During his visit, Mr. Iwata gave three dance workshops at Colorado Ballet and a presentation at the Consul General's Residence. Participants in the ballet workshops very much appreciated the special opportunity and listened intently to Mr. Iwata's guidance. Guests attending the presentation included other community members as well, such as Japan America Society members, in addition to Colorado Ballet members. All showed a high level of interest in Mr. Iwata's talk, particularly around his experience with the Bolshoi, highlighted with a very active Q&A session.
