Visit by Broomfield Sister City Delegation from Ueno, Nagano Prefecture (August 1, 2013)
A delegation including twenty members of a student group from Ueda city and five from Broomfield, visited the Consulate on August 1st as part of an exchange with Broomfield’s sister city of Ueda, Nagano Prefecture. The Broomfield and Ueda enjoy a strong relationship, with active regular exchanges such as this playing an important role.
During their visit, the Ueda delegation will also visit Denver, Boulder, Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. The Japanese students have been enjoying being with their host families during the visit.
