Consul General ONO’s visit to National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) (September 6, 2013)
Consul General Ono paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Dan Arvizu, Director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden on September 6, 2013. Director Arvizu presented a brief and informative outline of NREL research activities and expressed appreciation at the benefits of joint research with Japanese institutes and private companies. In response Consul General Ono conveyed appreciation for Mr. Arvizu’s help and contribution toward Japan’s recovery efforts from the Great Japan Earthquake, as he is a member of the renewable energy advisory board of Fukushima Prefecture. The Consul General also thanked Mr. Arvizu for the excellent treatment for Japanese visitors to NREL, and expressed his expectations for further development of joint studies.
