Japan Imperial Decoration The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette conferred upon Mr. Isao Kamitani of Denver Colorado
The Consulate-General of Japan in Denver is pleased to announce that Mr. Isao Kamitani has been named as one of the recipients this year of the Japan Imperial Decoration, The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette. Since he came to Denver in 1979 as a businessman of Sumitomo Corporation, he has been known as a man of integrity and sincerity, and dedicated himself toward supporting activities of Japanese companies in Colorado including the establishment of the Japan Firms Association of Colorado (JFA) and its Japanese language school. Further, Mr. Kamitani has contributed to the promotion of Japan-Colorado relations beyond the realm of business, with long time service in the Japan America Society of Colorado including serving as its president. The Consulate-General of Japan at Denver is honored to offer its sincere congratulations to Mr. Kamintani for this deserved recognition of his longtime dedication and commitment to better relations between our countries.
