Debriefing Session by Kakehashi Project Group (November 11, 2013)
A debriefing session for Kakehashi Project exchange students was held at Bear Creek High School on November 11, 2013. The group from Japan consisted of high school students from Obihiro Hakuyo High School, Iwaki Sogo High School, and junior high school students from Iwaki City. The group arrived in Chicago on November 3rd, experienced home stay in various places in the U.S. (Obihiro students had homestays in Colorado) and then gathered together in Colorado on November 10th. Representatives from each of the three groups debriefed on their trip experiences and introduced their home towns in English. Local area students were also present at the session, mainly participants in the Kakehashi Project who had visited Obihiro Hakuyo High School last May, so they enjoyed the reunion with Obihiro students. In addition, Mr. Tom Migaki, Specialist of Financial Department & , former Director General of the Department of Education for the City of Denver, made remarks as the guest of honor during the session.
