Jazz Concert by ai kuwabara trio project (November 18, 2013)
A jazz concert featuring the "ai kawabara trio project" from Japan was held at the Auraria Campus King Center on November 18th, 2013. The event was co-hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver, the Golda Meir Center, the Department of Music at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the Japan Foundation. A near-capacity crowd of about 400 was in attendance, including many jazz fans and invited guests. In response to this turnout, the ai kuwabara trio project gave an excellent performance and were given a rousing applause and standing ovation at the finale of the concert. During their stay in Denver, KUVO, local jazz radio station aired interview with the trio.
