Meeting between Consul General ONO and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez (November 18, 2013)
Consul General ONO had a meeting with Governor Susana Martinez of New Mexico on November 18, 2013. The Consul General expressed appreciation for support from New Mexico following the Great Japan Earthquake and goals for expanding relations. In return, the Governor asked questions about our recovery efforts and showed strong interest in expanding business ties with Japan and briefed Consul General Ono on the State’s economic development measures. The Consulate-General of Japan in Denver looks forward to pursuing strengthened ties with New Mexico.
