Visit by Delegation from Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture (July 31, 2014)
A 9-member delegation from Dewa-Shonai International Exchange Foundation in Yamagata Prefecture paid a visit to the Consulate office on July 31st. Deputy Consul General Yamaguchi gave an overview of Colorado and its economy and answered questions. The Yamagata delegation has been enjoying Colorado's natural beauty and getting to know the locals through various programs including a home stay. Since some of the delegation members are school teachers, they were especially interested to visit local educational institutions. Delegates commented that their stay in Colorado has been brief but fruitful.
