The 28th Colorado/Wyoming Japanese Speech Contest (November 8th, 2014)

The 28th Annual Colorado/Wyoming Japanese Speech Contest, co-hosted by the Consulate General of Japan in Denver and the Colorado Japanese Language Education Association (CJLEA), was held at the Colorado Convention Center on November 8, 2014. Many students learning Japanese in Colorado and Wyoming, from elementary school to college level, participated in the contest and demonstrated their Japanese speaking ability. This year, cadets from the US Air Force Academy also participated in the contest. The participants used the opportunity also to express their interest and passion for learning about Japan through Japanese traditional and pop culture and social issues.
