Courtesy Visit by the Participants of the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program to Consul General Ito (Monday, April 13, 2015)
A group of 10 participants visiting Denver from Japan on the U.S. Department of State International Visitors Leadership Program paid a courtesy visit to Consul General Ito on Monday, April 13, 2015.
The purpose of the program is to forge partnerships on a local level in the field of clean energy. Participants consist of representatives from local governments as well as private-sector businesses. They visited local governments and research facilities pertaining to clean energy in Colorado, and engaged in discussions with local representatives from that field.
They mentioned that seeing Denver and Colorado’s development and incorporation of renewable energy has provided insight for thought.
