Consul General Ito paid a courtesy visit to Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
The Consul General expressed his intention to contribute to strengthening the relationship between Japan and the State of Colorado while the relationship between the U.S. and Japan continues to deepen with symbolic events such as the Japanese Prime Minister’s recent visit to the U.S.
In response, Governor Hickenlooper said cooperation with Japan such as bringing an influx of Japanese companies to Colorado is really important, and truly wishes to cooperate with the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver in this matter.
